When you're just a name on the board
Would you look back and see that you had it all
Compassion and strength, the courage to stand tall
On matters that were important, you took a stance
You believed in values and honor, you took the chance
For honesty and integrity, you took the award
Will you look back and see that;
When you’re just a name on the board.
Will the people left behind; know they had been your all
Will they remember the good times, and let the bad times fall
Do you think they’ll remember the love in your eyes?
The last time you saw them and said your goodbyes.
Would you look back upon this, with sadness or joy?
Would you change even one second, if you had a choice?
For all this is null after your gone, all you will be then, is
A name on the board.

This is weird!! I'm not gonna comment on this more except to say good poem... You certainly draw on the reader's experiences...at least you do on mine...
