Bewitched by the moon’s glow,
Swept away by a night’s bloom,
The scent of flowers bathes the air,
Breezes carry the sounds of night.
Cupid’s arrow has found its mark,
Its flight sure it does not miss,
Secures the heart that love may grow,
Love’s dart without doubt.
Lift and sing of this gift blest,
Brought forth by loves sage,
New life is won with loves start,
Sweet lightness engulfs the soul.
Beside the tree a river flows,
All of eve’s light is not gloom,
When two are content to share,
Connected thru one another’s sight.
Exchanging glances in the dark,
Each kiss a moment of sweet bliss,
Those places that lover’s know,
Hands and lips seek out.
Not yet, ready to be at rest,
Bound together for an age,
Two as one, that shall not part,
Loves two halves now made whole.

Although, I'm not big on the concept of not being, "whole" in & of ourselves...this was a very sweet piece. I like it!!!
