I never thought I’d meet someone like this
Someone I knew was wrong but couldn’t resist
You’re not much of a man
Too much of a boy
My ego you couldn’t break
But my heart you did destroy
How I let that happen, I don’t know
I was too afraid to love you
Even more afraid to let you go
Too wrapped up in what I thought I had found
Never acknowledging every day you had let me down
Now I lay awake
And contemplate my next mistake
Sinking in the sands
With my heart wrapped tightly
In both your hands

Dear Carmen, I think this is an excellent descriptive writing, seems to have alot of insight into the weaknesses of the relationship. |

Thank you Bizzy for taking the time to read my poem, and I apreciate your coment. I know all the weaknesses the biggest being his girl friend and his lieing, I was told it was over and found out it wasn't. and now I keep my hands to myself |
