The December pool has a big blue tarp
Our spot in the corner used to store boxes
From here our walks to the snowshack seem so far
All the summer mirages forgot I left
I swear I’ll never wait another table
You can call me doctor instead
I’m a fool I didn’t learn this one sooner
This Christmas was better
Home is just a rumor
My backyard pitcher’s mound is leveled and soded
The curve was meat but the sinker was golden
Yesterday’s breakage is all new day’s solder
You were wrong about me
I’m not mad but I’ll still prove it
It takes a love to believe
I have a good one now and I won’t lose her
Go ahead and re-landscape
Home is just a rumor
