So you are back
you've returned
trying to burn
my inner spirit
yet i won't hear it
You think i don't
realize
your
disguise
my demise.....
You glorify
yet horrify
that thought of
letting
you in
to pretend.
You can tap
on my shoulder,
tempt me
but I'm older
and wise
to your false
disguise
and
your promise to
take the
pain away......
Funny,
it's still
there the
next day !!

Emotion packed write. Thanks for the comment on my poem as well. I can tell you though the darkness comes about when there is a will inside you there is a way to release your demons and set them free.
Not easy but can be done.

Yes it is as a yearning , like a itch that can't be scratched. All have a form of demon to fight
Mostlly I keep them quiet and try not to feed the habit. Its hard but there is always a stronger tommorrow. Peace
