Lost in the Moonlight

Contributed by NoSaint on Thursday, 28th December 2006 @ 10:44:08 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Slivers of moonlight
Through the window
Sparkles of tears
On her cheeks show

Lost in remembrance
Of love long ago
Spoken in whispers
Then left to flow

Away with the moonlight
Into open space eternal
With morning she is fine
Her sorrow only nocturnal

But as long as the moon shines
Into her little corner of the earth
Her heart slowly bleeds
Stripped away is new birth

Lost in the moonlight
Torn by the past
How many more nights?
How long will the pain last?

So very beautifully written to capture the moment of pain. Keep the faith, truly keep the faith and that moment won't last all that long. Wonderful work!
