The Fading Ash

One puff~ Time stands still and everything is laid on the table.

Two puff~ Things become easier to handle.

Three puff~ Little problems for the moment disappear.

Four puff~ Tar becomes part of the lungs and gives you invincibility.

Five puff~ Half way down and still feeling like a champion.

Six puff~ Remembering the problem to begin with.

Seven puff~ Sucking harder to get the strength back.

Eight Puff~ Feeling abandoned and plagued with problems again.

Nine puff~ Sadness because the ride is almost done with.

Ten puff~ Dousing the flame to kill the happy stick that was once your companion.

Time to adopt another companion . Repeat puffs 1 - 10 until you can't breath anymore.
