The Curse of Math

Contributed by Keatsdogg on Wednesday, 19th February 2003 @ 10:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: sarcasticpoetry

Assinine equations mocking your eraser. Why are x and y the villains in this apple buisness?

Harry wants to sell pears. Mary wants to mix paint. Percent signs dance in a jesting circle, singing, "I dare you to know!"

Confusion is black and white, as math tends to be. So subtely it kills us, and with perfect accuracy.

No.2 pencil headaches, calculator depression and the regret of agreeing to learn of theorems keep ticking the clock.

black and white, just like you say, so well in this poem,
either you have the aptitude for math, or it gets the better of you,
math,
love it, hate it, part of life
