Streaming Consciousness

Topic: abstract

Molly Blooms
lover
eats seed cake
out of her mouth
while lying
among rhododendrons...
Jump from Joyce
to news alerts:

"Marines charged in Iraqi civilian deaths.
Colorado blizzard strands thousands.
Condie Rice: Iraq worth investment in Lives & Dollars!
British charge man in gruesome prostitute murders.
Lawmaker stands firm on Quran criticism.
Iraqi politicians try to forge coalition.
The Donald and Rosie O'Donnel in a Celebrity Deathmatch.
Gorilla on fertility drug gives birth.
Study: Teens abuse all sorts of medicines to get high!
Someone tossed a cat corpse through a drive-thru.
Echo from the end of a dolphin species..."

More on that story please:
"The Christian Science Monitor
reports:
The Baiji, a freshwater dolphin,
which has used sonar to find fish
in China's Yangtze River
for some 20 million years.
Last week, scientists declared it basically extinct.
Can the end of a nearly blind cetacean,
help humans see the need
for greater species conservation? "

Loss brews an
elixir of loving,
to share
out of deep need,
as life's journey
filled with return,
mixes,
a hearts potion
to be administered
by ear
with authority.

I was into this, I had wanted to read it for a while but never really came round[always something else seemed to catch my eye]. Anywho it proved a very worthy experience. Hmmm, who knew? A stream of consciousness from within could run parallel to many other's thoughts?

Great work on this piece --- potent --- and the layout is not only creative, but very, very effective. The ending stings, and demands contemplation.
