Romeo and Juliet

Contributed by Jen_unknown_to_myself on Tuesday, 26th December 2006 @ 02:55:33 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I知 reminded of Romeo and Juliet when I imagine us together.
Forced to stay apart from each other, but manage to find a way to see one another.
Until one day in the future I see us both together but I am sad for you are dead and I had survived.
Though I had survived I really died inside. For I was devastated from my heartache and decided it was time to end all my pain.
Now we lie by each other both 6 feet under but we must be happy now that we can see each other.
Since this is what I see for us in the future if we ever get together.
I値l make sure to stay away from you
I won稚 let you love me
I won稚 let myself love you
I知 already fighting a battle and I don稚 need to fight two
So I値l say it once to you and never again
I値l say it once and I'll mean it
I値l only say it once so you better listen
I値l say these three words for the last time
Those three words will mean nothing in the end
But I値l say them one last time just for you
Those three words are
I love you

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ツゥ
