He sits with broken feelings that were gone before they started.
Love for those that were dear to him ... then they all departed.
Sounds of happiness and times of joy fill his heart with glee.
Alone now he sits and unhappiness is all that he can see.
Cheap booze and ciggarretes only mask the sadness.
Darkness is his only companion to keep him from total madness.
His suffering seems never ending, I can tell you this much is true.
Eyes are closed thinking of them, but all he can see is black an blue.
But don't fret young angel, let these words hit you clear.
When it's your time to fly back up to heaven, they all will be waiting near.
To greet you with hugs that you so deeply missed.
It will automatically be better as soon as you are kissed.
(Dedicated to all of those who have lost or are losing a loved one. My love goes out to each and every one of you. ~The Broken Savior)
