Two Sides of the Mirror Part 1

Contributed by Ari on Tuesday, 26th December 2006 @ 04:19:38 AM in AEST
Topic: abstract

Green grass growing
Beside the left of the brain
Even though on the right
Is a solid selfish stain

Knowing what to do
It’s easier said than done
One corner ripped
Another, just like the sun

Yellow daisies blooming
On the field of despair
All that is around
Is a single, lonely chair

Who gets to sit?
Is the question tonight
Will the man with all
Give some for some plight

Or will he keep it
Knowing he should give
Even though keeping it
Makes his life easier to live

Does it help a soul though
When he makes that call
Can he help someone to walk
And carry them, when they fall

Green grass growing
On one side of the world
While in the other corner
A girl, alone, in a ball, curled

Help the girl, he says
Without giving out a palm
While on the left side of the brain
The storm remains quite calm

Nice contrast to this. We all have to make tough choices from time to time. I hope yours turn out well for you!
