You.

Contributed by sju on Monday, 25th December 2006 @ 10:38:59 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

You are the beauty
of the aura and the back
you are the words
if not spoken nor thought
most certainly known
known and heard
the repetitive spinning
the wheel slowly weaving
You.

But where did this wheel get Its name?
I say spin, but It bends and breaks
jumping from point to point
and then...
the points are gone. It jumps.
It lands.
the points are gone.
You defy and determine the path
You say "***** that!"
the path ceases and leaves
a spark
gone ember
gone flame
gone blaze
gone inferno
You.

what is and what should be
the palatial slopes seldom used
for what their purpose might be
destroyed by the now,
but ever rebuilt
We waver in the gaze,
the blinding glare
We begin to rift
/strength./
more than any could fathom
in the now
/strength./
to send it packing
We look to see where
where, but the now is gone
a new now is upon us and
a new strength built always
You.

You walk the bridges
but there are none
bullets of the mind
shot
like kin of the Dark Knight
a new beginning
but not starting over
You burn with You
sometimes too hot often
but
as surely as rough winds do shake the
sparkling flakes before a fresh air
to witness You is all
i mean... for crying out loud...
You.

si tuviese el poder de concederte este deseo
lo haría
estaré contigo tanto como me lo permitas
"Ay que no se quebrante tu silueta en la arena."
convertido en ascua
You.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
