The Ember Glow

Contributed by Vampire_Slander on Sunday, 24th December 2006 @ 11:09:09 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The sweet winter ember
A fiery momentum of a life so warm
It sleeps the potential of illumination
It rests, waiting for the hunger embrace

So sweet the taste of the frost chilled air
The bitter cold of season and affliction
The eyes so luminescent, an emerald glow
An immortal ember, spark of the soul.

Star gazer, these optics an affinity
The bundle of warmth kept safe within
An exterior cold cannot breach
The ember rests so comfortable

No lantern or cage can withhold the force
Passion, the key of any heart map to the soul
Infatuation, the chest which bears embers light
The remedy for all pains of empathic proportions

Darkness stays inverted in light
No shadows can clasp their hand to yours
Salvation, the warm kiss of ember fire glow
The fusion of the gift with in, sealed in ring

These vows never ending, this kiss indestructible
Love, Soul, Mind, Body, Heart, and Passion
The Ember glow
