Loneliness Is The Dark

Not the dark of evening, of shaded light
But the darkness veiling you from sight.
Makes melancholy even the sound of lark
With your absence reality finds it's mark.
There's the chilling darkness, from where I seek
The simple touch of breast and cheek.
Your presence is needed to make me whole
To be together with heart and soul
My love, custodian of all that's dear
Without you loneliness is too.. a tear.

Good Poem. I have been stuck in the dark now for what seems like forever. |
