Silent Tears

Contributed by Jen_unknown_to_myself on Thursday, 21st December 2006 @ 01:33:39 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

The tears slide down my face with every thing he says
I can’t bear to hear his words of consol when I'm the one who’s hurt him instead
I can tell he loves me and I know I love him
But I’m staying to my vow this time
I won’t be his
No matter how much I love him
I won’t give in
It’s not my nature to give in to anything
But I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to hold out
Because love is one powerful thing
I’ll try my best not to believe in it
But that’s not working
Please Lord tell me if it’s meant to be
Give me some kind of sign
I love him Lord and don’t want to
How can this be?
Please let it end
Should that pretty little gun take me to the end??
I hope not but lord if that’s what you want tell me now
So I can say good-bye to him.

Love is always a 50/50 chance of happiness or sadness. I too have been tied between whats wrong and what's right for my relationship. Ultimatley I let it consume me, and I became weak from it. Love always finds a way to your heart. Be strong and do what is best for you.
