wrinkled old
sat beneath the tree
to the fresh and green she told
her riddled history
age has been cruel
memory haunts intently
time squashed her face dour
shattered fantasies
passionate dreams
heart-rending pleas
grins of mega-watt beam
humming bee-gees
on and on
her story went
an hour half has gone
leaving her past spent
the green young baded goodbye
so sad wrinkly was she cried
but what she felt the misery
was a stabbing dart of misery.
