Clouds
Clouds hanging in the sky,
Palace of the gods,
Heavens so close, yet far away,
Grace and grandeur;
Shadow and light play their game,
A million shades of gray,
Subtle yet striking,
Majestic contrast- in grayscale, till-
Dawn and dusk, tinted by the rays
Of the golden sun, brilliant hues
Dashed across the-
Clouds.

Wow, I absolutely love it. So much said is so little amount of words. A most descriptive piece filled with such wonderful imagery~

Go for it! You don't get anywhere by being demure, and uncertain, have a little confidence, 'cos you've got more than a little talent! Particularly interesting use of language for someone still at school... as Sue M said, let us know how ya get on!!!
