Relief

Contributed by nothingness on Wednesday, 20th December 2006 @ 01:31:06 PM in AEST
Topic: ThankYouPoems

A girl sat with a gun in her hand
She thought it out and had it planned
But something stopped her on the way
Something that she had everyday
So many people really do care
And they really want her to be there
Feeling guilty but so relieved
They actually listened and believed
She put the gun down on the floor
Feeling stronger then ever before
I wonder if those people knew
Exactly what their words would do
That together they gave some hope
And some words to help her cope
That as a group they helped her decided
Never to think about or choose suicide
