they hold a torch
shine expose our lives
the magnifying glass
stretches makes big as we strive
we try harder
we run faster
we hide dug cover cower
more
because beyond camera flashes
interviews newspaper features
are wide-eyed curious intriguity
they have
and it tears rips
our privacy lives
fame and its price
proves a hefty sum
