I have almost lost everything that is me. Now its work, work, work
No more time for me. Homework at night, school in the morning, and work in the afternoon.
No more time for joy, No more time for play. My grades are slipping and all is falling.
No more time for friends, No more time for love. A new friend in the group, I think she likes me. So many pulls, my forces are growing. It’s about time to make my stand. I’ve been hiding for so long.
No more time to laugh, No more time to mourn. We must be fearless as we stride up on to the battlefield where no guns are aloud. Shoulder to shoulder we will march.
No more time to run, No more time to joke. All will fear. All will be silenced. Then to death we must take are place at the top where dreams can’t be reached.
No more time for me, No more time for Them.

I kinda feel the same way. I mean, I don't work like have a job or anything, but I'm trying to become a professional author and manga artist. :D My writing is pretty rough but I think I've got the drawing part down! My stupid Algebra homework keeps getting in the way of my ambitions though... Gah! I hate school! Also, nice poem! I like how it related to me. |
