I posted a poem for her just now.

I know it is a worry but she needs to make the first step to embrace this life and learn that there are people who do care for her.

Hun I have been through this before. I feel for you. hang tuff things will work out in the end.

hang in there. remind her everyday how many people love her & what your life would be without her. Remind her of all of your good times together. Dont bring up the bad & make the most of the time you spend with her. Remind her of her favorite things. Bring her, her favorite candy. Have a girls night out. Go to the mall & after go home with her & watch hours of re-runs of her favorite shows. & cherish the time you spend with her. Take lots of pictures & make a journal on her. Remind her that you love her.

I hope you the best & i hope my advice helped you. My friend scared me like this once. She never attempted anything but she thought about it. Best of Luck.

♥ Miranda

In all honesty, I'm not sure there's anything you can do. Depression, the desire to end it, doesn't go away because you go shopping, or clubbing, or anything really... My friend died a week ago, not through suicide, but pure and simple unlucky fate (he was 18) he took a corner and crashed straight into the car coming the other way. His family and friends are devastated, as I'm sure nothingness' would be if she took her own life. Don't nag her, Don't blame her... depression is a git.

well you could pray for her.. prayers are so powerful and ask God to protect her.. also instead of getting her to a hospital try to get her to open up to you and help her by talking. and if you are her best friend and she cuts herself take all her sharp objects away.. she may feel betrayed but she will thank you later for saving her life.
