Pull me down
Drag me under
Drain out my last heavy breath
Let me stare off
Into the new salty air
That I breath in
Hold me tight
Let me struggle
Wait till I am calm
Then let me fall
Through the water
No one will find me now
As I lay upon the sand
But now its getting cold
Breathing in the salty air
Covered by the water
Holding me closely
I hear your faint wisper
Laying on the sand
I know that I've drowned
In the sorrow
I'm fading away
Into the emptyness

The way you used nature to describe the feelings of sadness is perfect, the water and drowning oh yes can be related to easily,
