Just awhile ago I pushed away trying to fight the way I felt about you;
The feelings I had for you were real but I didn’t want them to be
Just wanted them to disappear, to fade away.
For a moment they were gone, like they never even existed;
But today they are back looking deep into my eyes
And I must face them, I must face the truth.
I have learned you can’t fight true love;
No longer can I deny the way you make me feel
The way my heart sinks when our eyes meet
Or the smile you bring, just when you say a few words to me;
The way you look at me has me believing you feel the same
But neither of us has yet to confess
The feelings that we have for one another to each other;
Are we both Afraid of what could be?

True love never fade away:
It is a beautiful poem written from the heart.
Well done.
