Short of Forever

All I have to give is yours already.
I just want to be together,
But I cannot wait for eternity,
Just a day short of forever.
I feel so at home when I'm around you,
Like I am right where I should be.
I finally found peace since I found you,
More than I ever thought could be.
Do I love you, you want to know it's true.
When I am so starved for the truth,
My heart will always lead me back to you,
And there, my darling, is your proof.
Your presence chases the shadows away.
Light follows you from up above.
Your eyes tell me all that you cannot say,
For in them I see tears of love.
When you smile at me, I feel immortal.
You are the cure when I'm alone.
Your fierce embraces are like a portal,
Into the sweet blissful unknown.
So take me from this painful world I hate,
I promise to leave you never.
And I will always try my best to wait,
For a day short of forever.

wow such love and devotion in this write.. i can feel the devotion in this.. i hope this person appreicates you.. you can tell you truly love this person.. good luck with that.. i hope you get her or if you already have her i hope it works out.. awesome job though
