Hidden

Contributed by untitled on Sunday, 17th December 2006 @ 06:21:36 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

My thoughts are dark when I weep,
so I hide them,
I hide them deep.

No more of them do I speak.
Not a whisper, not a peep.

I hide them, hide them far away.
Never to speak,
forever to stay.

Hush, hush little thoughts of mine!
Your far to dark of any kind.

If my mom knew of my heart ache,
in return her heart would break.

That's why I say, "Yes, Mother, Yes."
I could just never give my mother less...

Day by day, this is how I live.
It's the only answer I'll ever give.

For every tear I want to shed,
I crack a joke or smile instead.

Deeper and deeper.

Darker and darker.

So I hide them away,
farther and farther.

I'm dying, dying of this grief!

"Let them out, you need relief!,
Don't be afriad to speak you mind!
Light or dark thoughts of any kind."

The more I hear this, the more I weep...
So I hide them
I hide them deep.

Forever and ever will they stay,

hidden, hidden
far, far away.

I can relate! It's what peper and pens are for if you ask me; writing all those thoughts down, so you can share them with a bunch of random people on a website! Very nice, flowed really well, and your rhyme scheme worked,
