The Night Sky

Out here in the Country,
The Night Sky is so Bright,
The Stars are clear to See.
I sit in the grass and look Up,
And I stare at the Great Beyond,
And marvel at the Stars and Moon Beyond.
In this pristine Moment,
My heart starts to Cry,
As I remember Loves Lost,
And Lives Touched.
The beautiful Night Sky,
I just sit and wonder "Why?"
Why did you Leave Me?
Why did I Leave You?
Did you even Love Me?
Did I even Love You?
Tears fall from my Eyes,
As I stare at the clear Night Sky.
The Stars are Bright,
And the Moon is Beautiful.
Sitting here in the Grass,
I begin to miss those I've Loved.
Looking into the Clear Night Sky,
I Weep and Sigh.
I miss the Love,
I miss the Fun,
I miss Them.
I look at the Clear Night Sky,
And I begin to gain Hope,
That everything will be Fine,
And I will be at Peace.
I sit here in the Country,
Looking at the Clear Night Sky.....

There is just something about the country and the multitude of stars that make for perfect moments of soul searching indeed.
