She quietly paces the hall.
Gentle tears stream down her face
As she stares at a blank white wall.
The doctor steps out to make the final call.
Her heart begins to pound and race
As she quietly paces the hall.
She ignores all
And she tries to accept this dreadful fate
As she stares at a blank white wall.
Crumpling her tissue into a ball.
She thinks about her long lost soul mate
And quietly paces the hall.
Her eyelids droop and she yawns
As it gets to be late
But she just stares at a blank white wall.
She ignores all
As the nurses watch her wait.
They watch her pace the hall
As she stares at the blank white wall.

That blank white wall really hits you with "nothing", suddenly, and all at once. you expressed that well!
Im sorry for your loss!
Great poem
