A Special Prayer

Contributed by honey56 on Sunday, 17th December 2006 @ 02:33:29 PM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

This morning I awaken at a

Half past nine,

My prayers I did sing in praise

Unto you

For letting me awaken to

See this new day..

I thank you dear lord for

All the families and including

My own,

For having mercy upon our

Poor souls..

Oh lord I thank you for letting

Me feel your touch against my

Face…

For the wind did caress me

Ever so gently..

I thank you my father for

My enemies and foe, let

Their minds be comforted

By your sweet mercy and

Grace..

Let all your kind blessings
Rain down on the earth and

Give special blessings to

Hungry and sick..

In the name of the father and

Holy Ghost,

I kneel in honor of you, I send

Up this special prayer

In Jesus name I pray

Amen and amen..

Thanks for posting. Beautiful Poem. Reminded me how we need to have an attitude of thankfulness in prayer even for things that we might take for granted. God is great! He provides so much for us as well. Thanks for posting.
