A great deal of the time that I spend,
I spend inside this room so empty.
Nothingness fills up every corner,
I found stillness staring straight at me.
And I begin to ask a question,
Why do I feel that something is wrong?
And then it hit me, and I trembled,
This is not the place where I belong.
Then, I saw your picture on my bed.
For one single moment, I felt whole.
As if for the first time in a month,
I felt having a heart and a soul.
A month has passed since the day I left
And I have twenty-three months to go
Now I know why I feel so unfilled.
So I wrote this poem to let you know
That living this life is meaningless,
Hollow and purposeless without you.
Hear the beating of my heart, saying,
I love you, Jenna, I really do
I’ll surely come back, please wait for me.
I know you and I can see things through.
And endure waiting until the day,
The day I’m finally home with you.
