He's a Hero

Contributed by KristinaStewart on Friday, 15th December 2006 @ 10:45:49 AM in AEST
Topic: Patriotic

He's a hero, you know
Sometimes up all night
He goes where they tell him to go.
Doing what is right

He's a hero, you know
Though some refuse to see
Why he is willing to go
And all that he does for you and me.

He's a hero, you know
It's not about your politics
With all his gear in tow
He's there to heal the wounded and the sick.

He's a hero, you know
Facing dangers all day long
He possesses true courage not just for show
Standing against those that are wrong.

He's a hero, you know
He left home just a boy
He has seen so much he had to grow
This change began long before he was called to deploy.

He's MY hero, you know, and I am so proud of him!!

I agree with Aj blessing of safe journies and a quick return home to you. Yes I do believe he is a hero and thanks for sharing this with us. Send that man of yours a warm hug and tell him thankyou for what he is doing.

wishing you love, peace and joy this holiday season.

huge hugs
