It comes every year - not long after snow
When the grass and the flowers - no longer grow

Trees inside houses - with red bows and gold balls
My mom and dad - even deck out the halls

Under those trees - bright boxes appear
I shake them and poke them when nobody’s near

Over the fireplace - hang four great big socks
I hear if I’m bad - they’ll get filled up with rocks

Outside the houses - are covered in lights
And the trees in the yards - sparkle each night

Dad’s started wearing - a hat red and white
He sings about reindeer - and some silent night

What do you think - could cause all these changes
Why it’s Christmas of course - its fun for all ages
Please don’t forget - Christmas comes every year.
But the feeling it brings - should always be here.
Inside your heart - and inside your mind
The warm feelings of love - you always should find.
Spend time with friends - and family you know,
And the feeling of Christmas - never will go.
