Escaping Memories...

Contributed by MisfitMe on Thursday, 14th December 2006 @ 01:03:55 AM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

Back across the many centuries since come between

The life she now lived~

& the one past in which Queen...

Echoes returned to free the memories locked away

In the far reaches of her mind~

never from strayed...

Where in every recess they were like cobwebs draped

Failing before forgotten~

to make good their escape...

Into an awareness that had long from them hidden

These memories returned~

to their Queen not by bidden...

To no end she railed against their unearthing

The anguish which anew~

they would give to birthing...

Yet, no longer was she from their presence to be spared

Nor any of what she had~

in forgetting them dared...

To be continued....II, III, IV, & V so far...

I see how the plot began the story a living entity within?
