On the outside we are
night and day
But on the inside, we
are alike in every way
We share the same touch
same love , same eyes
Still people seem to stare
cause they are not Color Blind
It doesn’t matter what they
think or what they say
It only matters to not let
it bother you and run away
This is what my heart has
been longing to find
So if its OK with you
I'd rather stay Color Blind

Wonderful poem and very well put. Matters of the heart are color blind, as it should be. |

Dear Angelness, I thought your poem was great, sincere, and profound. More of us will be color blind as time passes. There could be more togetherness already if we weren't so afraid of one another. |
