|
You see me standing there
Do you know who I am?
Do you know my life?
As it briefly descends
My life has mostly been lived behind a mask
As I wait for death to begin its task
Always taking me, but it shouldn’t be
Because someone always ends up saving me
But that saving does not last
Because the person who saves me comes to past
They’ve only come to teach me a life learned lesson
And then memory’s fade of that person
Hurt and pain then engrave
Into my life that must be saved
Saved from the sorrow over the years
And from the overcoming fears
I want to break free the crowd
As I stand under the darkened shroud
Demons dancing as they fear the light
As I’ve become their greatest plight
I want to die, and my life is no more
Fought the battles, yet lost the war

Your poem is emotionally packed with sadness. You have expressed yourself so well~ Death is never a solution to your problems. Have faith my friend. May the beacon of your heart lead you to much safer and higher grounds~ Here's to much brighter days ahead.

If you write like that dont think about dying. I tried it, get boring after a while.

powerful and sad.. i like the flow of this.. things will get better for you.. think of how much stronger you will be in the future when a problem arises you will be able to overcome it quickly... awesome job in writing though
