Clarity

America has fallen into a state of severity
Silence is not enough, we need a moment of clarity
Why is it that thought is such an item of rarity?
It must be because thugs have so much celebrity
same thugs screaming "No homo!"
as if it's such a vulgarity
now before we eve start, let's get one thing straight
I'm not anti-gay nor anti-straight
I am anti-Satan; that means anti-hate
that means anti-racist; that means anti-sexist'
that means anti-chauvinist and anti-feminist
it's all discrmination instead of discretion
Don't we all have one father;
don't we all have His blessig?
Even if you don't believe in that
you know we need to stop stressin'
Ya'll haters need to stop the aggression
you wonder why I feel strongly
when my forefathers have been through this same oppression
only allowed to breed to help our slaveholders succeed
now we are free and we give in to this aggression
and ya'll starin' at me
because I flow with such depression
In a country so trapped in war
what is there to be happy for?
Maybe I'm trippin
but I think I'd sooner find something to slap ya for!

I like where yer comin' from in this poem 'cept I don't agree with the genderizatin' of our Creator. That, to me is a pro-chauvinist statement. Just me.

I think clarity is the way to war with words. And everybody then understands each other and nobody gets pysically and violently hurt in such a process of war. Look forward to interacting with the author of this piece.
