Master of the Man

Topic: oops

i: PRELUDES

"Shush, little flower-dragon;
the lushing lotus awaits with sweet aroma
over yonder, past the tulip-bell's ring.
Listen for it..."

It's just begun.

ii: Watcher of Justice

Surprise reflection, catch the dog-killer's sneeze
among the sheep-grass's plummeting plumage.
(KILL!) Vivace-action on the damper-tension high rise,
despising the fern-gully demise with pure satisfaction.
Swear to the ground and to the higher-hades; stay until
your cessation.

Village keeper dons the mistral destiny, only to be
given to the solus-ace of card-wands. (MAIM!)

Drift,
Fan,
Master of the Man.
Forward as he cleats
to the sound-aging beat
through the volley-wood heap,
Master of the Man.

iii: Watcher of Purpose

Watch him tie the knot on the spot;
or mash and bash Gorgon's serpents,
teach the prime youth about allegiance
and give them the love of violence.

iv: Watcher of Slaughter

Forward, no tellers to bring the news; upon
pedestal-worshipers in solemn rituals,
who gain only sight in mind and not in body.
Watch blade incantations punish the weak;
interlope internal with external unions,
gabble upon the midnight spill,
hear the singing of the meek.

v: Watcher of Reason

Murders with conviction isn't murder
to night-men on the prowl; only to
weak society-sons who are penitent
to the dagger. (PURGE!)

Sin,
Ban,
Master of the Man.
Backwards as he trots
to empty village lots,
fused with liquor-shots;
Master of the Man.

vi: Watcher of Sins

The one who shot the gun too soon.
The one who stabbed the people of Boone.
The one who made order by brutality.
The one who wished for finality.

The one who decided to take off his mask,
revealing erosion caused by a scotch-flask.
The one who beat the books with hammer and hooks,
but remained to cower behind concealed, tainted looks.
The one who listened for the ringing of the bell, blossoms of
his youth, his present, his future; it's
impossible to tell.

Keeping his hear-walk to the wind;
he waits for it... waits for it.

vii: Watcher of Sound

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
