look at me sitting here all alone but not one tear will fall
i don't think of what might have been or why won't he call
i don't worry that i'm not good enough, i know i am
walking along the river damn...
i truly know that i am more beautiful now
than i ever was before now that i know who i am..
I am me and that's all i need to be...
i am the lil girl that once danced
i am the woman who will learn again to dance..
i am the lil girl that daddy loved more than the world
and i am the woman who he sees in his future...
as i shoot my game of pool
i am seen strong and not a fool
as he watches my game
he'll remember my name..
and know that he'll be safe with me
and with him i'll know my world is right..
his eyes are brand new,
his touch is too...
so i no longer have the time to miss you..
