Prey

Contributed by Sasha on Friday, 8th December 2006 @ 11:42:56 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

His wild heartbeats were losing their proud strength
Shuddering at the netherworld that blinked and mocked
A few lucid moments before the darkness closed in
Agony dragged and stretched to a yawning limbo

His over-sized dark head dazed and delirious
Fought proudly to stand on those skeletal shoulders
Weighed down, weary and on his starving fours
The little boy dragged on while the gods were still busy

The patient vulture edged closer to death
And the five-year-old braved his last battle
Willing himself to keep moving, to breathe
If he didn’t want that big bird to come closer!

That was a life who hadn’t known comforts or gods
A living face that had flies eating at his eyes
Fighting to survive another day without food
Thirsting for water he had never seen from source

Miseries piling high in Mother Earth’s records
Where little lives are pawned to obscure realities
Prayers and hopes get jilted at prayer houses
And justice just remains a word romanced…

a man can only fathom the injustice and ill designs set upon this world at times but a good man will always get up, laugh in the face of gods, tryin to fool the one, that i aught to be ashamed of that which i willed to become, a baby in all aspects,
turned from crawling in ignorance on all fours, to having it all in the world, fashioned around only two, a sacred bloodline, i feel it beyond anything the jeolousy or envy could even imagine, all the reprecussions of a legacy let the pendulum swing and the bell toll, the toll of a human life is passing, as information, leaks faster than sheer bullet holes in your indidivdual perception of the truth, it evolves with each new day, till the end day I will remain, the king of Gods, Zeus, lighting the truth, a man who shakes sheer thundebolts, when loose 'im on you like a mongoose, i could never be your prey unless
you were the Queen of Hades, oh ***** do I mean Katie,
well anyways gentlmen and ladies,
how many times do i have to tell you i'm the greatest mind manipulator, the greatest programmer slash designer, Lucifer's Pimp,
slash womanizer i can not lie i love all women from fat to slim. yet no romance is fake.
yours truly,
brian
