Life in a Bubble

Topic: toughstuff

With nothing to take, what can you steal? With nothing but pain, it's impossible to heal. Thrown to the ground, kicked by so many. I can't hold a grudge when my soul is empty. Anger, spite, malice, and greed. The joys of this world, a timid thing. We walk our paths in hopes of escape. Everyone is different, but all can relate. Take what you can, give what you get, it's easy to say for a hypocrite. From soaring through the sky to shattered dreams, to giving a life, then taking it away. I know it's right, but guess it's not. Eventually it's meaningless, my corpse will rot. Live life to the fullest, thats what we want . So we will sit in our homes, seeing the less fortunate we laugh and taunt. Socially accepted, politically correct. Who's to tell you what is good or what is bad? A trick of the mind, some sort of drug. Everyone takes it to catch a buzz. Tell me whats right, i'll tell you the truth. Debate from the same answer? whats the use? Faith is real, faith is hope, but with hope wavering, whats there to know? Lets paint a picture, you and I, a colorful world of our design. Oh no i forgot, ripped back to reality, we're to controlled to think of a strategy. Break your limits find your own truth, maybe, just maybe one day, hope can find you.
