Sigh…
That is how we communicate
We sound our voice
In quiet slumber
Hiding our Views
Hiding our Ideals
And finally
Hiding Ourselves
I try not to.
I feel it wrong
To collapse into my awkwardness
To cover myself in the blanket
Of my mind
Of my soul
And of my True Self
The poetic voice
I have
I use
To show my true colour
My personal wonder
That I find in the world around me,
In such a way
That I feel that
The words I state
Are not my own
But that of the poem itself
Finding me in the breeze
Finding a place in my Mind
To let itself
Grow
…

Wow. There is something about the truth that catches you off guard even though somewhere in the back of your mind you already know it. This is the truth. Brilliat write! |
