Veins of Gold

Take a peek inside to see my soul.
and the dazzling sight you will behold
for embedded in this black rock
are pure glittering veins of gold

A million roses full in bloom lie buried in myself
and a torrent of rapid water that no dam could hold.
deep from my heart do these emotions flow.
all throughout my body on these veins of gold.

Sweetly sing a song of love
about the life's greatest story told.
Caress with me with your sweet words.
and I'll show you my veins of gold.

Stay near me, my love, and keep me warm
when you're near my blood is never cold.
take your hand and feel my pulse.
that pumps the blood through my veins of gold

When you are with me, I cannot fear.
Oh, how your presence makes me so bold
that I almost cannot contain myself.
I want to show the world my veins of gold.
