It stirred
Gently at First
Like a Foreboding Curse
In Monotone Verse
As it lured
It’s Prey
To the Shadows
Crying to the Wind
In quiet succession
And Procession
Of its new Possession
The Creature jittered
To a sudden Noise
In the Shadows
As it hollered
And Followed
It’s Dream
It seemed
Only the dawn could break the silent hum
