Nightmare

Contributed by MisfitMe on Thursday, 7th December 2006 @ 02:58:03 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Hear ye, hear ye~

Come one, come all!

I beseech thee~

harken unto my call...

Lend me thy ear~

& heed what I say

For danger draws near~

as night devours day...

Shutter all windows~

& secure thy doors

Every dark shadow~

must have light into poured...

None shall well fare~

against this beast

For naught 'tis spared~

upon which evil doth feast...

Wound after wound~

will open be laid

Bones about strewn~

no flesh left to decay...

Torn asunder~

to on be fed

Blood lust hungers~

for all that runs red...

Thus to survive~

what can not be fought

Allow not thy lives~

in nightmares be caught...

If a waking nightmare get drunk with a priest, if one is asleep then remember your are armed to the teeth with Lunar Fires and Angel Wings...

In the dreamtime my life in the web of your nightmare caught we would 'resolve and turn our selves to dew' sweating into other worlds so we can find who caused your nightmare to occur and 'eat his heart in the marketplace.'

Much Ado about Dreams

Where do the haunts come from, whilst deep in sleep? Frightening. I've times I've dreaded my eyes to close.
Peace, Laura

I love how the words are written here... It makes me imagine an one of those yellers in small colonial towns, shouting recent news even in the dead of night...

Eternally Punished,
