Misfit Me

Contributed by MisfitMe on Tuesday, 5th December 2006 @ 10:39:42 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Many number the times, I've felt what couldn't be seen~

unmasked reality in the spaces found between

Allowed myself to be caught by the demons that gave chase~

journeyed through the reflective depths of eyes without a face...

Many number the quests that leaves my shell behind~

through memories of the future found locked within my mind

Never taking the same path twice to where it is that I belong~

traveling through the silence of solitudes own sweet song...

Many number the strangers who've looked back from the mirror~

in brave & beautiful madness, smiling with their tears

Each of them are one of a kind, yet we all share my face~

which unto one another gifts us with a uniquely kindred grace...

Misfit Me

Kerry, What a piece of writing perfection. I absolutely found myself twisting and turning in and out of these words. It is a familiar path.
I loved that last stanza. Damn good stuff, sis.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

Your poem is a geode with crystalline core...:

'Each of them are one of a kind, yet we all share my face~

which unto one another gifts us with a uniquely kindred grace...'

In an off the rack world fit isn't all that it is cracked up to be as Spartacus was emulated so I must state: I am Misfit Me
No, I'm Misfit Me....

Shamelessness has merit .

PS Snow White has added 'Lumpy' as her 8th companion..

You still continue to produce excellent work. Your talent continues inspire me to work hard on my own works in order to accomplish the level in which you have achieved. The achievement of finding inter beauty of one self-esteem is a great task in our modern day society. May your heart be filled with peace and joy each and everyday.

This poem was to irrizistable to pass over not to mention the tittle. beautifuly written and of course fascinating to read, then what isn't that you write? such depth you emerge the reader in only to find your soul waiting at the other end of the tunnel of thruth and your captivating wisdom.
