The Second Helping

Contributed by yangdantien on Tuesday, 5th December 2006 @ 02:55:05 PM in AEST
Topic: news

Turning and Burning in the
ever climbing fire
thousands dying, evil flourishing
resources for news and information
filled to the brim
by those who edit
commanded by Spinners
that weave the web
to catch your gadfly
attention off guard.
Filling ones mind with acid
eating through the beaker of class
a generational weakness
spread by mouth to ear contagion
swallowing tidbits as inoculation:

Brittney steps from the limo
leaving Paris holding
the brie & baguette
her ole 'minge and gary'
for all to gawk
even Madonna raised
her brow and said
'honey that thing needs
a landing strip.'

Theres the mom who
put vodka instead of water
in her 2 year olds bottle
the little sot burped and
the doctor said shes drunk
arrest the mother and
prescribed AA for tots
12 crawls from Bill W's inner child.

Theres the womans flatus in flight
she was so self conscious
she lit matches to cover her tracks
and complicated matters
with the smell of sulphur
many thought ole'Scrotch hisself
broke the wind
that forced an emergency landing.

And more 'B' roll at 11
Celebrating innocence is dead
The best convictions from the worst
empty of passion filled with
false intensity
this poem takes position at 12 & 6
on point, watch your step
hand signals gesture.
Venerable Vulnerable
it also has your back
stay in tight formation
the jungle will
reclaim the way we came.

Clever write, man. Ths second stanza with Brittany and Paris made me LMAO. Hmmm I was getting different vibes through each stanza. I wish so much we could sit and have a chat. I enjoy your thought patterns.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

Your mind must never shut down. I enjoy reading the dancing pattern of your mind. Again another great read. Thanks
