This family has been broken
I am trying to make it whole
But we keep getting resist ants
From those outside forces that oppose
I can only do so much
without any help
I ask that we all work together
As a family of one
In order for us
to become this whole family again
This is my wish
to the man above
That he will allow us
To become whole once again

Sadaddy!
A poem of interest for several families; broken families go way back, as you well know, for many, many years.
Your [this is my wish] title is a prayer in itself. Your speaking voice is an active voice, I am most certain many will identify with your write.
Families: be like soldier ants, go out find food, bring it on home; build-brighten it up with nutritious love and strength; that way many who enter into it will be content.
Sadaddy! The tone of your speaking voice is very tender indeed, energizing at the same time; there is a lot of power in what you have written.
The third line seemed to be a metaphor to me the reader, and it worked out well that way in my mind and heart.
The unrhymed couplets made it easy to read and digest.

I do so sympathize with you ..
it is difficult to shoulder so many burdens on one's own.

I hear a call of support here, an identity of who we are....a hearts wish to be the whole family, united for all time and it rings true and wonderful. I pray your call is answered for we are but the sum total of our family.Blessings for knowing this. |
