DONT TAKE HIM FROM ME

Contributed by MARYCORTEZ on Tuesday, 5th December 2006 @ 07:32:06 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Once again I’m believing in you
God hear my prayer-let this dream come true
It took so long for me to love once again
But the faith I got is something that wont never end
All the times I was hurt-asking you why
Just wasn’t loud enough-because I got no reply
See lord I’m tired-could you keep that in mind
I’ve sacrificed so much-is there happiness I’ll find
He’s so good to me-and my kids always smile
It’s been so long-since we had that in awhile
I’ve done your work-accepted you in my heart
Show me that you notice-let today be the start
Allow me the honor to become his wife
My being is yours-and I’ve dedicated my life
Let the anger go away-and all the hurt end
You’ve already made me pay-for all of my future sin
Keep us safe-from all the harm that’ll come
All there is to be punished for-you’ve already done
Give us our children-Lord we’ll be a family
I’ll finally live again-Please Don’t Take Him From Me

very interesting write.. it sounds like you are in doubt of your faith.. keep the faith and hope in Jesus.. he only wants what is best for you.. things may seem bleak but you must keep the hope.. without hope there is nothing. God will take care of you but you need the faith..

I like how you expressed your feelings within the poem.. its a very good write thanks for sharing.
