Falling rain
Sights are all gray
Silent steps
Minds a wandering
Thunderclap
Awake, wishing for another rest
Waiting

The blue skies aren’t so blue anymore
The black night doesn’t seem so dark
The sounds aren’t so reassuring
Your presence isn’t very calming

Bright lights
An optical illusion
Augmented fear
Not knowing what’s next
Indifferent soul
Stopped trying to get it
Waiting

Unfortunate circumstances have brought me here
I can’t stay long
It’s not that I have somewhere else to be
I just can’t stand this
The path has come to its end, and I’m done waiting
