I want to take myself apart
Disconnect my heart and my head
The only part of me that’s rational
Put it in a place
Where its rationality cannot be challenged
Somewhere it will rule
So it can’t be hampered and held back
By my body,
My body with its irrationality
I just want to take myself apart
Disconnect my heart and my head
To set myself free
So I may do what I want
Unrestricted by my body,
My body of irrationality

if i'm understanding your poem correctly, and correct me if i'm wrong, but if it is this way, i feel the same way how our heart amd ming battle each other all the time and we mostly think with our minds rather than our hearts,
so it is a great write, i just hope that i understood yours correctly |
